Do I need a large dataset to get started?
Not necessarily. Dataset size requirements vary depending on the task. The NLP Feasibility Review is specifically designed to answer this question for your situation — we look at what you have and tell you honestly whether it's sufficient, and what the trade-offs are if it isn't.
How long does a typical engagement take?
The Feasibility Review typically takes one to two weeks. The Text Classification and Summarisation engagements run for four to eight weeks depending on data complexity, followed by a two-week technical handover with your team.
Which languages are supported in the summarisation service?
We support English, Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil — the four official languages of Singapore. If your documents mix languages within the same text, we can discuss how to handle code-switching appropriately.
What happens to our data during the project?
Data handling is agreed in writing before the engagement begins. We work within your data governance requirements — including on-premises processing where required — and do not retain your data after project completion unless explicitly agreed.
Can the delivered system be maintained by our own team?
Yes — that's a deliberate design goal. Every system is documented thoroughly and handed over with full technical context. The two-week handover period is structured so your team understands the codebase and can retrain or adjust the model independently.
